The Pearl and Ivy Community Corporation (PICC) invests in its community by providing thousands of dollars in grants to local organizations and scholarships to deserving students. The grant recipients and selected scholars are recognized for their leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to community service.
INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE: ALPHA NU OMEGA & picc AWARD $30,000 IN 2025 SCHOLARSHIPS
The Alpha Nu Omega Chapter, in collaboration with the Pearl & Ivy Community Corporation (PICC), has awarded $30,000 in scholarships to Bay Area students. These funds will support recent high school graduates from Alameda and Contra Costa County as they begin their higher education at institutions such as UC Berkeley, Howard University, Prairie View A&M, Clark Atlanta University, and UC Davis.
The organization's contribution to the collective $350,000 in scholarships awarded by the Divine 9 this year is a testament to a shared commitment to empowering the next generation. It extends its gratitude to the SF Bay Area NPHC for the opportunity to celebrate the scholarship recipients and their futures.

picc & alpha nu omega delivers 240 weekend food bags to west Oakland school
The Alpha Nu Omega Chapter and the Pearl & Ivy Community Corporation are building on their deep commitment to the West Oakland community. In 2025, the organizations provided 240 "CHIPP" food bags to students at Prescott Elementary School, helping to ensure they have nutritious meals through the weekend. This contribution puts them on track to match last year’s total of over 600 bags. Their long-standing partnership with the school and their sustained support for community events like graduations underscore a shared dedication to service.

The Alpha Nu Omega Chapter and the Pearl and Ivy Community Corporation are proud to announce the 10 scholarship recipients for 2020. For the first time, the Pearl and Ivy Community Corporation awarded four Alpha Nu Omega Scholarships and four Ida Louise Jackson Scholarships, while the Alpha Nu Omega Chapter administered two additional scholarships. All ten recipients exemplify exceptional academic achievement, strong leadership, and are considered change agents who are positively affecting their communities.
